I noticed, today, that I had only 10 days left until I leave on my mission trip to Mexico. It still doesn’t yet feel like I’m actually going to leave. More importantly, this also means that lent is almost over and curiously, it made me look back at the weeks passed. And I asked myself if I have done enough? I get random wake-up calls from unexpected events. Moments telling me to have better moments. I’ve found that as much as I try to push it away, I have an air-filling-lungs love for the written word. I like to read slow, eyes slightly squinted, and hair tied back. Fully enveloped. It’s a simple favorite of mine.

Under the needle
I keep thinking about the day I will have to leave my new found home here in Seattle. I enjoyed a nice run today. It was too cold to run all the way to Madrona beach so I stayed in the neighborhood.
